    Bailey channel?

I need the bailey channel for where the bottom of the window glass fits into the top bar of the regulator on a 91 Range Rover. By this I mean the (rubber?) insert for the existing steel channel.

The Scott's Old Rubber website offers many options but the site is bloody horrible and there is little or no way of selecting the correct item by vehicle type or model.

Does anyone know which type.part number is the correct channel please?

Please ignore my last message - Scott got back to me with relevant information. He says the item needed is not Bailey channel but glazing strip, uncured rubber which is folded into the channel and smeared with Kero and the glass slides in and locks in.

    Update - best $150 I ever spent

Gave up trying to do this job myself. To replace the regulator requires three hands, each about the thickness of a pencil - OR just give the job to someone with experience.

MJR Autoglass in Goulburn won me instantly when that said they did all the glass work for Lannock motors. True to form, it took two of them just over a hour to replace the components, test everything and clean the glass. I had already purchased a new channel section ($70) that they glued onto the bottom of the window - a better solution than trying to find an appropriate rubber insert.

Great people - friendly, professional and good to work with.
