Some years ago, at Modern Motors in Dungog (once an LR dealer), I saw an AU CKD build 2-door in bright yellow (same yellow as the Series III Game). It looked really good.
The Rangie was owned by the son of the dealer.
If I was repainting the L322, I’d like white. There is a white L322 at British Motor Imports and it looks really good.

When I was repairing some rust in the alpine windows of my sons D1, I went to the local paint place in Wangaratta, general paint, not an auto paint specialist, with the paint code and name. He pulled out a set of Land Rover colour swatches with 4 variants of the colour, he let me take then home to see which was best, then mixed paint in a spray can for me.
Would you like me to go and see what greens they have?
Tony
If it was for an L322, I could help. I have a dealer’s display case which has samples of all the colours sprayed onto metal panels, all the carpets, and all the trims.

That's an awfully kind gesture Tony, but I can't ask you to go out of your way just for the sake of a colour swatch ID
I was told by the P.O. that it was BRG micatallic - and it was only on the 93 model and difficult to match.
- hence my hesitation to do anything.
when parked beside the ardennes green MY92 it looks a LOT brighter - a bit like comparing astroturf to real couch grass.

Any good paint shop will look it up for you and match the colour with there colour chips. They are quite amazing. I always go to J&D auto paints in ballarat. They are usually very busy, but just wait your turn and they'll match any colour you like. If your really stuck, pull the fuel filler flap from the car and leave it there with them. They will scan and match it (and no doubt tell you the exact colour code and factory paint mix). The back of the fuel filler flap should have good paint with no sun damage
