Here is mine in its current standard state. Once the readdies have been accumulated, the plan is for the following to be done:

    - change to 24 spline axles and strong CVs (Ashcroft??)
    - locker diffs
    - suspension change (more articulation than lift, although will probably need to be 2 inches above standard) including new trailing arms, etc
    - refresh LT77 and LT230 with new bearings, gaskets, etc (would like a R380 if I can find one for right price)
    - tidy up the interior (sagging headliner and retrim seats)
    - cut the guards and fit flares
    - fit 33 inch tyres
    - refresh the brakes (new discs and replace calipers)
    - replace long range sill tanks with rock sliders
    - finally, fit a 4.6 motor.

But the Blue Beast goes well none the less for a toy.

Sounds like 86 to 88 model. Best RRC ever made

Well worth a build up. You may need a body lift as well to do 33s.

Haha, nah, my mate was hopeless, the thing was so gutless, I used it to tow a tandem, 9x5, with a falcon shell to the scrap, it wouldn;t go over 60km/hr, but he'd just rev it in the bush

    No decorum

Well in the time I owned my RRC, I never broke an axel, diff or CV. All I did was control the right foot and use the power in appropriate moments. If it aint going up a hill, use a different line. Putting foot to floor will break *****.

Yea, but I had an endless supply of centres and axles for him, so bust it, limp it home, change it and back out there in an hour or so occasionally weld up the housing where it spat out
