    4dr seats to 2dr

Hi all , anyone rebuilt seats from a 2 dr with seats from a 4dr , as in using the tilt / slide lever with the 4 dr seats .
My 2dr seats are knackered and have some 4 dr seats handy . Thanks Garfy

You may be able to transfer the padding but you will need to keep the 2dr frames if you want the lilt mechanisn. Marsh used to re upholster 2dr seats with recaro style padding for better comfort and support.

You could fit the 4dr seats to the 2dr but it would be illegal not having the tilt mechanism for rear seat passengers to access in case of an accident.
