Project 89 Blown away

I have finally come across an LPG installer that has experience with supercharging:) It make a big difference when you chat with someone that knows what they're doing;)
Showed him the entire set up I have and is fine with it. He recons it will work very well.:cool:

The Rangie has lapsed rego so best way now is, fix the brakes and damage from the bore pipe incident, then get it blue slipped in standard form.
Stick the blower on, fit the tanks, mixer, throttle body etc and he will do the connections.
Then we go for the lift etc. I will have to consult the engineer again on this as so much time has gone by:(

Fine other than detonation on ULP:eek: Think that may have been the death of your 3.9?

Just got to make my mind up if to run this on the old 3.5 till she gives up and then put the much younger 3.9 in latter on.

Nah, I think the cause of death was something in the intake after blower, before pistons, as the blower was split from the motor when i got it and there was some remnants of something I couldn't find it had come from anywhere internal, but that was a long time ago!

Well, into it at last, Cleared all the dead Toymota, Ford tractor crap and various other things out of the work shop and even gave the floor a wash.

Have started dropping the complete diff assemblies out as have to fit the MD actuators. Took me over an hour to find most of the parts again as were buried in our car port.

Busy here ATM so will be a little bit each night. They're talking big rain up for Wednesday and Thursday so may get a fair bit done if it eventuates.:cool:

You know, I'm nearly over the pic thing.:o Takes so much time and effort uploading them from here:( I'll gather a few over the next few days and put several together with MS paint. Much easier for me that way.:)

digging up the dead...

I have finally got around to installing the Maxi drive lockers and Ashcroft 4.11 CWPs to the Rangie. I have managed to lose the instructions with so much time going by but eventually find all the parts I hope.:angel:

The install was very straight forward apart from knocking the small bushes out of the drive spindles and making way for the larger bushes to allow the CV upgrade. I decided to go with the early range rover 23 spline
CV (606665) as have heaps of spares here. They tell me the other stub axle snaps first so acts as a fuse.

Hi Matt, yea still alive and kicking, not too much as changed here since your last visit.:D Still pushing the 120 about as daily work driver.:cool:
Few more toys etc and bit of much needed infrastructure is about it otherwise.

I had thoughts of selling all the parts and pensioning off the Rangie for something newer, but since I have so many spares and wrecks here it would be a false economy.:angel:
Tell you what, we cant kill the old 3.5 efi. Keeps going and going and going.

I've mounted that blower on the damaged 90 rangie so can set up properly. Not worrying about the LPG as the damn stuff is too exy around here anyway.
So long as I can get the fuel consumption under 20/100 we'll put up with it.
Should be able to with the Haltec ECU
