A motor & diff change is not that hard .... But the blower + wire + ECU install / setup ... is the tough call
My line of thought is ...
Buy a 1990+ rangie with a "great body & paint / Licensed" .... Build that one up .... Then sell the 89 that you have to recover the purchase cost
.... then start fleebaying ... or the "markets" ... the odd stuff thats useless to you
This may help, clean out the shed & put dollars back in your wallet
