LATE 93 Vogue Se / LSE with ABS were 24 spline. All 94 and 95 classics were also, as they were basically disco axles etc with ABS.
(My '93 LSE is 24 spline)

You don't want these anyway Mark, as the ABS models have weaker swivel support,(A bronze Bushing and thrust bearing on the top as opposed to upper and lower taper roller bearings in the non ABS models)
Just get any RRC, and I'll get you some D1 Non ABS axles to put under it

I think about 94 in the Rangies with the soft dash, pre soft dash with ABS is the same you just have to swap the axles over from 10 spline to 24.

Earlier ABS brake Rangies can be fitted with 24 spline axles, they have the same flange and stb axle set-up. My 90 Vogue SE originally had ABS and the flange is exactly the same as the Disco 24 spline so in theory this would be a direct swap over.

    Hmmm...
Actually, come to think of it Trav has just sown the seeds of doubt! I can't remember whether my LSE is actually 24 spline now Too many rangies pulled to bits too often 1993 was a hodge podge year in D1's too, a mixture of coarse axles and metric flanges!!Aarrggh!!
I know for certain softdash are, as I've seen twin fine spline airlockers in a '94LSE.

thanks guys. so basically any 2 door that I buy will be 10 spline. if I fit a 24 spline locker to the back, then I can just change the axles to 24 spline and they will fit okay ie for length and diamater etc

and there shouldnt be any problems running 24 spline in the back and 10 spline in the front during a transitional period of the build up?

I have a 24 spline TruTrac in the rear and normal 10 spline open diff in the front of my 88 Rangie. The rear axles are aftermarket, I believe genuine Rover ones wouldn't have been long enough due to different hub designs (bearing spacings).

You'd have to change hubs and stub axles also.

Correct, so long as the 24 spline axles are aftermarket to suit, If stock disco, you'd need to run the disco spindles, and hubs
