    Paint code

    hey guys
Would anyone know the paint code for a white 85 model. I had a mishap with the grinder years ago and that bit on my compliance plate is gone.
I dont know how many whites there were in 85 but I,m hoping only one.

Will post photo when Photobucket stops s....ing itself.

I have seen this here before but damn if I can find it I have RR codes here in PDF but not sure what they call white. I had fun with this when doing resto on a 84 PH2. Tony

Good link, very helpful. I'm planning a respray on the Vog over Christmas (DIY, not pro stuff. It's gonna get scratched and bent up so nothing too flash )

    Thanks, Trav

Every paint batch varies a little and you should not rely on paint codes. You are a lot better off taking something like your petrol filler cover into a paint shop and having the colour computer matched.

    paint matching

i've never had a real issue, I find out local Autobarn storte pretty close to the mark and it's hard to tell the difference. I'd probably use a smaller specalised shop if I was to do a full respray (and cheaper too).

    Try this link guys
    none metallic colour
This guy seems to keep his list up to date quite regularly.
All u need are the last 3 digits & the paint guys will match it.
Have used this on many customers cars & never had any problems.
