Has anyone gone over 29" and not had to cut the guards or install a lift kit?

I already run 225/75 R16 on my 1985 RRc which is 29.3" and was wondering if there was anything a little larger I could run without cutting or lifting anything.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

This will depend if a spoiler is fitted, width and offset of rims you have.

No spoiler, a regular Phase 2 Hi-Line RRc with uprated rear coils and Defender xtreme alloys from the late 1990's as in the attached pic (not mine though)

Or that actual car about 6 years ago.

I'm running 7.50R16s (about 31"s) with standard spec suspension / no lift kit / no cutting / standard RR wheels.

The front edges of the rear wheel arches have been dressed (folded over the sharp flange) but that's all.

It rubs slightly at times on extreme articulation but that's easy to live with.
