My 89 RRC costed 2500 with New Tyres, Reco Engine, Rebuilt ZF, Fresh paint and well sorted electrics. Best value car I've ever owned in years. 1st drama I've had is tx valve in air con has blocked.
They do come up cheap in time. Just have to be in the right place at the right time.
Don't pay to much unless you need one quick.

as an example on what i have.....
1987 RRC, Auto, Dual fuel.
ARB lockers front and rear, Maxi and Jacmac axles.
bilsteins and big lift, caster corrected swivels.
ARB front and rear bar
High mount winch
Forgetting the interior mods, it owes me $4k registered and RWC.
OK its a bit of a pig, but add 2k for nice shiney paint and straight panels....
It was nice once....

Yeah but you had a lot of the fun bits already and the know how to put them all on a cheap rangie Clarkie. It would cost others a fair bit more...
