    bought my first rangey

    well got a range rover classic 206 thou drive line in mint condition, a road worthy check said:
    new windscreen
    Parker light (globe)
    left hand bumper end
    test gas tanks
    one reverse light
    power steering leak ( but on closer inspection i feel its the rocker cover)
    left hand driving light (wire has disconnected itself)

    dash and interior is very clean, i paid $1500 what do you think.

    Nice rig for $1500, looks like an 87-88 Rangie Hi-Line (87 model VIN is DA 88 model is EA suffix).

    Watch the LPG with that AFM, they have a nasty habbit of blowing the bastard to pieces if you're not careful.

    Great model. Has LT230 Nice and simple to fix electrics etc.
    LPG and dunny door efi will be ok if you keep good plugs,leads and keep it well tuned. No backfires
    Good luck with it.

    Nice. I have a soft spot for silver RRs .

    It's an '88 (leather steering wheel, heater pipes outside the manifold, thin brake booster) which is the pick of the Classics IMO.

    You need one with a 4BD1 or 300 shoved in it.
    Is't it funny that apparently a 3.5 ltr V8 Rangie is faster than a 3.8 V6Dunny Dore
