I am guessing he got the whole diff and and it just a matter of changing centres.
Make sure he keeps the money he saved for a constant supply of 10 spline axles![]()
I'm more surprised at the $150 installation. Last mechanic I spoke to charged $880 for a diff remove/refit of a RRC.
Better watch out JC, you might awake to a buggered 300TD on your doorstep![]()

thanks JC.....
on a serious note, it was probably the best thing I have bought for years. It was just the locking centre for $50 and it cost me $40 to get it from WA so it is a great price. JC only charge dme $150 to remove the centre and have the locker fitted to the centre and refit, run the air line to the engine bay, fit the solenoid, switch and test drive....cant complain about that
and yes, it has massive amount of flex but you can never tell when you will need some extra traction and at less than $500 including new compressor, t was a steal, how could you say no to that
and yes, we have a sick sense of humour down here and I know JC was just taking the **** so its all good, its actually a compliment![]()
Who thought a locker could make such afuss![]()
you are dead right nofuss, imagine if I bought two of them
you can never have too much traction![]()
I remember breaking 3 10 splines on one hill.
Don't have that problem now![]()
OK
Justin you put the diff lock in the wrong green 2 door.
Mine is still in the garage with standard diff, what went wrong mate???
Good work Justin I can see the smile on Marks face from my house.:-)
