Same here with the dunga. I had the oil light come on and expect it to die as I suspected a low oil pressure issue, no knocks or noises so I just kept on driving. The damn thing doesn't use oil (leaks a bit here and there ) and it's been great. Not a powerhouse and pushing those 33's is a bit of an ask but does it without complaint and gets the job done

I replaced the oil light switch for $10, problem solved and no annoying light on the dash.

I hate to say it but your stuck with it for years. I flog the pick handles out of mine so does my wife Sees 5000 RPM on kick down in the hills here daily The 3.5 sure is a tough donk if we can put up with the short comings. Pulling power
But I 'm not sure I can for much longer though

That's fine by me, saves me doing any work on the dunga I don't need to. I just change the oil every 5K, keep up the matenace after trips and it should still keep on going.

I think regular service and keeping the corrosion inhibitor in the coolant is why mine has gone the distance, After 5000 kms the oil is still clear to light brown and doesn't use a drop between services. Does use a bit of fuel though

Also annual reaidator service, worth the $120 to get it done especially in a QLD summer

If the dunga was starting return good fuel economy, I would be wondering why

I have a feeling the same will happen here. Only at 5000RPM in 2nd gear

It will go bang one day as most do when flogged.

I wonder if the blower I have here would kill it Very tempted to chuck it on as is
