    Best thing you could do is if it doesnt have an electronic dizzy, fit one or an aftermarket bosch one- will make a world of difference on gas and petrol.

    That may be an original setup but it has to be a very early one before 1977 I'd think.

    It has SU carbs and may not meet the pollution ADR's for the 1983.
