Edit: If it is a White Tiger Lift kit , I'd get a shop to fit it , it is pretty comprehensive kit.

Actually it's not that bad, looks daunting but once you get it worked out it's fine. Access to a hoist makes the job a hell of a lot easier. The Vog had the 2 1/2 LRA body lift, great kit fully braced and would do it again although at nearly $800 it's not cheap

Note that the chassis mounting bolts are a tad long for the kit but they do come with 6mm washers so that's not the problem but something to be wary of. Suggest replacing the rubbers that the mounts sits on whilts doing it for the $60 extra.

Trav , Just interested to know how you fitted yours , I was planning on fitting my kit on the driveway but like you said it looks daunting , I've been told a Full day to fit it by a workshop on a hoist How do you think I'd go with a Bottle jack and 2 chassis stands??

Edit: Also My appologies for Hijack Smilonas

You just need somewhere level.... Not your drive way

I lifted the 2 Door with jacks and blocks of wood and will be doing the same with the 89 model. Just take it a bit at the time.

I used my hi-lift jack on my driveway (flat concrete) and jacked up from the front door on the slider and then the rear of the slider as I went along fitting the spacers. Do one side at a time and don't tighten it all up til it'sfitted (the middle mounts are a bit of a pain with the extra bolt required to strengthn the lift) but the instructions are pretty comprehensive and tell you exactly what to do.

Also I painted mine black I don't like the gold look although it rubbed off whilts fitting (typical cheap export paint that Supacraps sell).

They are a comprehensive kit , but well engineered and not that hard to fit. Blocks of wood and a trolley jack was all I used. Take your time, read the instructions, and all will be good.

    Cheers

G'day Braudy and welcome to the Forum

and if you've seen my driveway you'd know blocks of wood and trolley jack won't help

So steep the postie now has to use a homing pigeon to deliver the mail after the winch on the CT110 failed.
