    cooling system troubles?

if youve got LPG and you're lucky its LPG getting in through the gas heatery bit.

If the coolants levels correct odds are it the start of a head gasket failure, a slipped liner, a cracked head or a combination of the prior.

it would help if you let us know what engine youve got an some more info on the symtoms like "only when hot".

We've got the 3.5 V8 petrol. It bubbles while still cool and hot. We had the cap on and ran it for about a minute, turned it off, opened it up and while still cool it spurted everywhere.
