RRC or Disco steering shaft in RRC
Guys,
The big green money pit needs a new steering shaft, is there a valid reason to install the ally disco shaft over a RRC shaft? I know a few guys do it but are they that much better than the old steel rag jointed RRC shaft?
What are people paying for the shafts? I have been quoted $170 for the RRC steel shaft here in perth
cheers
Luke

Dunno about the Disco one fitting ... I can't see why it wouldn't, as everything else fits
I replaced mine 2 years ago with the steel version, The original one had a large rubber block that was split / broken into 3 pieces (fell apart)
I paid about that quoted price you mention / Cheaper than no steering when driving on the Highway

I had a bit of a shed clean out yesterday at my dad's place, found a near new steering shaft that i removed from my old RRC before i wrecked it, So I'l probably fit that.
Jezza, you working tommorow, I'l be up your way if you want to sort that crank seal/oil pump.
