A Disco is just a Range rover with a Disco body bunged on the chassis ...

The 14CUX is the computer that drives the fuel injectors
(A black box about the size of a car CD player)

If you buy the whole Disco ... then all the required parts to fit, are at hand ...
No more carbies / no more flooding / 3.9L motor, LT 230 ....

OK ... I'll admit that you'l find new swear words doing it ... But ..

when you say Qudrajet, is that the old Rochester 4 barell made for the old GM's holden 308's?

because instead of getting a new edelbrock inlet manifold and new weber 500carby, i can get a 2nd hand 215 buick inlet manifold with a 4 barrell Rochester for around $350 + $100 shipping outa the States......!

    cheers,

    chris.
Yes. They are available in different sizes. The size used on the holden v8 worked well. The only thing I changed on the carby was to fit an electric choke.

If you can get a 3.9 efi engine with what you need for a reasonable price, you will be far better off. - especially if you want dual fuel.

    thanks all for your help.

at the moment my engine still has plently of life in it, it runs well on LPG but wont attempt to run it on Petrol as it will playup on me again. So ill just keep driving it on gas until it eventually breaks. then ill do a change over out of a 94 disco. Sounds like a viable option like you said all the components are there, just have to shoehorn it into place. with th eusual Swearing LoL i know that feeling........!

    cheers,

    Chris
