				Hi all,
Have just picked up my '88 110 ex-army, passed RWC straight off the bat, 155k on the clock, runs great! A few items missing, which I am trying to source... Think it'll be a bit tricky as the Army have only just started selling them off. I think this was the third round of auctions this year.
Is it helpful to anyone to register the vehicle to REMLR? If so... what is the best way of doing it?
Also, does anyone have any info on parts for military LR's? Are most parts standard defender parts? (Eg: dash board light cover [missing], driver door doesn't close properly [door pillar catch loose], bonnet doesn't close properly [no idea what the issue is here... any ideas?])...
Looking forward to joining in with forums/ discussion.
Is there any way of 'finding' members in my local area?
Cheers,
Stripey

G'day Stripey and welcome to the AULRO forum. Most parts on them are the same as the Countys of the same vintage but there are some "army specific parts" as well. The ADF had their own parts manuals (RPS) or repair parts scales for the 110's, quite a few of these manuals have been on ebay over the last year. A have a few copies that cover most of the model variants so if you need any part numbers give me a call. The dash light cover - is that the lift up flap that covers the warning lights? - if so don't worry about replacing it as it as it is an ADF specific thing for light blackout. The bonnet will most likely be adjustment on the pin assembly and I reckon if you adjust and tighten the door pin it will be okay. I am sure that you will get a lot of enjoyment out of that 110, it is probably the strongest and most robust LR ever made and will still be going strong when most other models will be dead and gone - and the big bonus is there are no electronics, computers or anything like that, you can push start it and run it even without a battery.
