I was wondering what was in that white bag - i followed stop cable up to it and assumed there was something like that inside-pretty clever system.

Matt, the RFSVs had keyed (alike) ignition because we left them cached in the scrub for long periods while foot patrolling.
What many outsiders fail to comprehend is that in sparsely populated areas, the locals know each others' tyre tracks and which gates should be open.
You have MORE chance of a nosy so-an-so following sign in to see who is on their land.

The Electrical Diesel Injection Control EDIC switch is the buzz you hear when you turn the engine on or off. the beauty of it is that if it fails, you can reach in and manually cycle the system to start. A consideration for the immobilizer system.
    Cheers, Dave.
