    6x6 engaged light

I'm trying to get the in 6x6 light to work . I found a wire off switch underneath replaced it still no good . Pulled indicator light panel out found only 1 wire going to indicator light . Pulled dash out can not find a loose wire with correct lug on it to fit light the wire on light is green and goes to a plug and then becomes white.Any ideas on where the missing wire comes from would be appreciated.

I strongly suspect the 6x6 light is actually the centre differential light, that might help you search for your answer, a County or early RRC circuit diagram might help as it is common across all LT95 equipped Landies, including stage 1 and Rangie Classics. It isn't military specific.

Oh. I had some strange idea that when you engaged the centre diff it also engaged the third axle drive, and the light would be the same for both. My bad.

One of the 2 wires at the switch is an earth, the other one goes to the indicator light in the dash cluster. Use a multimeter and check for voltage at these wires, one should have approx 12V ( with ignition ON). If it does have voltage then check the wire you mention at the indicator light, if there's voltage there you may have a faulty bulb or the switch on the 6X6 drive unit may be faulty. You can check these for continuity with the multimeter. Hopefully this will identify your problem.

does it have a 4X4 and 6X6 picture on the warning light panel.
    lot of different panels.

I can remember 2 lights--often wires added with bullet multi joiner connectors.

the earth wire was grounded at the switch to the bolt that holds the servo on.
