    perentie speedo cable part no

I need a new speedo cable - it's a 2 piece and only after the short upper section that connects to back of speedo unit-but can't read the part no-anyone know it?

    G'Day Matt.
    You need PRC 6023
Should be about $30 and include the grommet in the assembly.

If the cable clips are broken or perished: PRC3180
A multi used item also used as a bonnet prop clip on TD5 Defender
    Cheers, BDave.

When you say it's short, my cable looks like it leads down behind the hand brake drum. Is this what your talking about??

I know this is an old post but did you find the correct one. The military 110's had a 1 piece cable (PRC6023) whereas the civvy ones had a 2 piece setup (PRC4298 for the short upper one and PRC4282 for the lower one)

I seen 1 on eBay less than $30 delivered, but I needed 1 by this weekend and got 1 made up locally thinking I was real smart. $80 later ouch, should have been patient..

Has this piece caused your speedo to stop working?

My speedo stopped but I'm guessing its more related to dismantling the transfer case, although the cable does seem loose/slack as it goes through the firewall.

Mine was busted right behind the speedo, pretty sure they have used the same outer. $80 only got me the inner!!!
