    Perentie instrument lights

    Hi All!

Stomp's electrical problem - which I can't help with unfortunately - reminded me of a question I have regarding the instruments in my Perentie (including the speedo).

I've noticed all the instrument lights are lit independent of the headlamp switch when the vehicle ignition is on. By this I mean the instrument lights are on all the time when the truck is started and running, but obviously only noticeable in low light conditions or in the dark. Is this arrangement normal?

I've not yet by accident found a switch to control the instrument lights independent of the ignition so I don't know if one exists or whether the full-time-on arrangement is the norm.

No great problem - just curious

    Cheers, Dave
