No problem. I thought I his thread had gone quiet. Many perenties being sold but not many new posts. My mechanic loved the car and now he wants one. I was trying to convince him to join team Perentie.

I had the day off yesterday and so took the opportunity to show some relatives around Bribie Island. Perfect day for it, but the water was freezing.

Took my boy [and the RFSV] for a drive along Stockton beach and back yesterday, managed to get bogged [mostly on purpose] so we got to use the MaxTrax for the first time which worked perfectly. On the way back we stopped to help a Ranger recover another Ranger which was sitting on it's sidesteps, had a blast although I'd be tempted to go lower than the 20PSI I was running as the Goodyear HiMilers aren't exactly optimal for sand driving.

I had the Hi Milers down as low as 12psi to get me though the soft stuff, just need to put air back in them as soon as you hit the firm stuff & get above 30km/hr

Thanks for that, it didn't do too badly @20psi but a bit more footprint would've been nice in a couple of spots.

Here is 48-010 with Mt. Tibrogargan in the background. The Glasshouse Mountains are very dry and totally spectacular at this time of year - but then, they're always spectacular.
