I seem to recall AFM have the gig for 3 years of auctions at minimum. There'll be a few thousand to go yet. Some are still in active service...

						Has anyone been studying the sale of the Perentie's? How many Perentie's left to Auction is my question. What guess would it be till the last vehicle auction? 6 months, 2yrs???

I recently heard there are 1000 in Afghanistan still to come back.

						I hope they bring them back and don't dump them. I guess they will all be sold disassembled after customs and quarantine.
I estimate 1600 are still yet to be sold. Grays seem to sell about 100 a month across Australia.
In short, plenty more coming over the next few years, wait for the right one for you!
In Long;
5Yr contract for disposal and we are 1 1/2 yrs into that.
Started with approx 1000 6x6 and 2000 4x4 in service. They wont come at at 100/ month for the whole 5 years.
You will see a surge over the next few months to a year as a large qty of G Wagen enter service and the 110s are released.
Then there will be dribs and drabs after that because there are a number of variants that do not have a MB replacement yet.
If you are waiting for a RFSV/ SRV, you might have an even longer wait.
Numerous Cav and Armour units are putting there hands up for those to use as mounted recon vehicles. This means that as the RFSUs receive there new MB SRVs (LRPV equivalent) the RFSVs will be transferred to other units first, THEN, after another couple of years THOSE units will get a (I'm guessing) G 4x4 Recce vehicle.
Info and some comparison pics on the G SRV Here: http://remlr.com/forum/index.php'topic=1938.0
Plan Beersheba (Army restructure) is still shaking out, so that will affect release as well.
Cheers, BDave.

Hi BD - Any similar stats on the UniMogs? What about the 6x6 Unimogs?
Cheers
David
Anecdotally it seems that civvie 4BD1 110 values are dropping as a result of the military sales. I suppose the gal chassis is more of a drawcard than winding windows and a roof...
