Have been looking for the right size solution to fit in the back of the GS, and found it today at Supercrap.
Plano Large Sportsman Trunk Camo - Supercheap Auto Australia
Needed a couple of lugs on each end trimmed off, but it now fits perfectly between the seat boxes, can be padlocked, and bolted to floor and its color coded to the Landy!
Its not super heavy duty, but at the price, it's good value for money.

$95, but it seems cheaper online, and someone said they have 20% off their ebay store tomorrow.
Nice find, should fit my recovery gear in there alright. Hopefully can find one in NZ.
Dimensions pls?
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Quick question, are the side latches easily accessible when it's sitting between the wheel arches?
""The Plano sportsman trunk is perfect for on the back of the ute for storing really anything. Features Integrated wheels for easy transport Four redesigned heavy duty latches Three padlock tabs for added security Molded grooves for stacking Tie-down brackets on each end Recessed handles 37.75" x 18.25" x 14"

Found one of these in a shop today. Unfortunately for the price of them over here (NZ$130!) I don't think they are solid enough. In fact I was a little disappointed in how flimsy they are. Oh well back to searching!
