Storage in the back of my Perentie.

Have been looking for the right size solution to fit in the back of the GS, and found it today at Supercrap.
Plano Large Sportsman Trunk Camo - Supercheap Auto Australia
Needed a couple of lugs on each end trimmed off, but it now fits perfectly between the seat boxes, can be padlocked, and bolted to floor and its color coded to the Landy!
Its not super heavy duty, but at the price, it's good value for money.

$95, but it seems cheaper online, and someone said they have 20% off their ebay store tomorrow.

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Quick question, are the side latches easily accessible when it's sitting between the wheel arches?

Yes, there is enough room to get fingers under them to release them.

Found one of these in a shop today. Unfortunately for the price of them over here (NZ$130!) I don't think they are solid enough. In fact I was a little disappointed in how flimsy they are. Oh well back to searching!
