    Door key and barrel stuck

    Hi guys I got abit exited and put my key and barrel in my door to se if it fit without checking if it was seased... Ofcorse it is . Anyone out there done this and know how to get it out ? :/

    Try squirting some PFTE dry lube into it. (It's the stuff teflon is made of. Very slippery)Then see if you can wriggle it free.

    The barrel has a retaining spring that locks it in place.
    Have a look on the underside of the tube that the barrel slids into.
    You will see a hole about the same size as a matchstick.
    To release the spring insert a tool (a rivet worked for me) into the hole and push it in gently.
    Insert the key and you should be able to remove the barrel while similtaniously pushing on the tool.
