Or put an auto in😊
you're operating on the same wavelength as I am just in a different fluid phase.
Based on the premise of landrovers leak... if something goes wrong and you've tapped the powersteering or engine oil for your hydraulics you either wind up with mandraulic steering or a siezed engine. If you leak the air out of the pneumatics its ok theres more of it just hanging around ready to use.
if you install pneumatics and kill the supply there is minimal additional resistance to the normal controls so you can setup your additional controls over the OEM and still be able to use the oem ones.
i can easily envisage a modded shift leaver with a twist throttle like a motor bike ,a brake lever like a motor bike and a thumb/finger trigger setup for the clutch like a trigger shift lever set from a MTB. it would take me about anoth,, just pictured it a relay patch in with a thumb hat to give you headlight and indicator control under your fore finger or thumb a palming handle on the wheel and an extra 50-150 psi from the powersteering pump or the high flow truck power steering pump to ease up the steering load on the wheel. Engine mounted compressor to drive it all and you have something to do tyres and drive your duster/minor air tools.

when you pull the clutch "trigger" in the vent closes at the trigger, when the vent is closed the micro actuates and flicks over the airvalve to run the actuator, when you back off the trigger, the micro opens and you control the release rate with the vent control on the trigger.
