Thread: um, yikes

Thanks mate. This is first time I've owned a car like this one. I'm normally pretty fussy about my cars. I like them maintained properly, so I'm always on the lookout for something wrong.
I gotta learn how to let go and enjoy this thing, instead of being paranoid about every little noise/leak.

If he does remove the centre diff to check the shims, make sure he knows to Loctite all the centre diff bolts on reassembly and also check the torque on the intermediate shaft bolt while he is at it.

If it's that involved (removing the diff) then unless it really needs to be done, it's staying as it is. I've spent way too much on this thing and need to start saving again. (going to need it for the $5000 gearbox/clutch job anyway)
