Best source of 12v DC in 2005 D3

    Hello,
Looking for some advice on where I should attach the power for a UHF CB.
My D3 only has a single battery install.
Would like to find an accessory circuit that can handle the power requirements, and that does not require me to pull apart the entire interior.

    Regards,
    Richard.

You should really put accessories on their own circuit. Not just from a safety aspect but if one develops a fault and blows a fuse everything on that circuit goes out.

    There is no easy answer.

But... I would suggest that you run both wires back to the battery. Not what you want to hear I know. But in could not in all honesty recommend you do it any other way.

If you start adding more accessories you should start thinking about using some circuit breakers. One for each circuit. Search for threads showing installations and a discussion of CB re fuses.
