    you have until 2016 to change over .... id wait and get one on sale and change in 2016..... buy then the price of an 80 will be comparative .....

    If it ain't broke don't fix it

    40ch may be going out of date but you still have five years to use it. I still run an AM 40 and 18 ssb so i can chat without everryone butting in, sometimes it is handy to talk without the authorities listening in.
