Discovery 2 aerial location????
Hi everyone,
I've got a 2002 disco and for the life of me, I can not find the location of the aerial for the stereo. Can anyone help me out. I've just pulled out the factory deck and have noticed that the radio reception is really not great, but I dont think it's the new radio. I wan to replace the aerial, but need to know where to look.
Thanks
Mike

It's in the rear side glass. I think it may be a dual system but don't quote me. Personally think it's the best reception I've gotten from an antenna. To replace just means leaving the end of the original coax and fitting a new antenna wherever and running the cable up to the radio.

If that link works it will show the coax connection - green plastic body in the photo. Removing the rear headlining will be the most painful part of the process most likely.
