    Interesting. I wonder if the bell is mechanical or is someone pulling a cord.

    The links don't work for me either. I want to see the NY fire department filmed 1920 but wont open. Does it need some sort of plug-in to view.

    Interesting also to see the development of road rules. At the time of the New York film there seems to be utter chaos on the roads. No real separation of pedestrians or right and left lanes of traffic, just a free for all.

    you reckon it's any different on the roads these days
    Ever seen an Ambulance try to get through traffic, dumbasses still block the way and reckon they have right of way over an emergency vehicle.
