Will an LED flasher can work with incandescent lights?

So for example would there be any problems with having LEDs on the back and keeping the incandescents in the front ?

Just going through my truck and doing things bit by bit.....

Wouldn't cause any dramas doing it that way?

That depends on the LED flasher. Most I've seen are good for 30W; and most indicator bulbs are 21W. Therefore if you have changed the rear light to LED (say 5W), but still have side indicator (5W) and front indicator (21W) you are pushing the bounds. If you have an incandescent indicator on your bullbar, forget it.

The adjustability of the flasher in the post above is just the flashing speed. LED flashers have no bulb out function, so don't care how many bulbs are attached until the max power rating is exceeded and they fry.

In post 2 of this thread I've posted how to remove the bulb out functionality of the standard flasher, meaning that you can run whatever combination of LEDs and incandescents you want. That might be a good stopgap solution until all the LEDs are done; then move to an LED flasher if you feel the need.
