    Winch Isolator Switch

This is the auxillary isolator winch switch that fits into the factory dash on the 2002-06 (mine is MY05). I found it on the expedition website (Land Rover Auxiliary Switches for Defender 2002 onwards | Buy 4x4 Land Rover Toyota Nissan Accessories and Parts Online Store | Expedition Centre Australia by Mulgo)
I would like to keep the 'factory' look, so would this be acceptable for a kill switch, or am I missing something?

I can't see how the full current for the winch could be handled by this switch. Is this something that is wired in parallel then?...which would defeat the purpose of a isolator then, right?.....

you just use it to isolate the low current side of a very, very, very big solenoid/relay or the solenoid that comes with the winch
