    Max,

One can buy rear view mirrors that have the screen built in. I happened to be reading about them earlier tonight.

Available from RhinoCo Technology in Sydney. http://www.rhinosecurity.com/go.php?p=158

    Thanks everyone

Theres certainly a few systems out there. Apart from those mentioned I';ve found

    http://www.poron.com.au/

    and

    http://precisionvision.com.au/

I ducked dowen to Rydalmere & had had a look at the resolution on the Poron one, more than adequate. But it uses a 4 pin DIN plug, not sure how interchangable that would be.

I'm leaning towards the mirror mount one on the brash imports site referred to earlier. The RCA connections would give more flexibility - a second camera, a video ipod, even a digital TV

A TV is now ridiculously cheap. The TDR986 on

    http://www.primaaustralasia.com.au/Welcome.htm

is $79 apparently. And the sioze of a deck of cards. Unbelievable. Almost wortth a try at that price.

    Enough ranting

    Regards
    Max P

Impressed with Precision Vision as I sent them an email asking for info and 30 minutes later they were on the phone.

I am interested in the CCD camera as part of a proposed upgrade to the incar entertainment system of the Disco

He is coming to Perth at the end of April to hopefully set up some resellers so the product should be available locally.
