I got a very cheapy from dick smiths, I have only used it twice.
One set of batts lasted all day and seemed to work fine a couple of k's away not in direct sight.
happy with it for the price.
almost forgot you can get a mic to use it in vox mode where you just talk and it keys the mic for you!
