I've spoken to the tech Department GME Electrophone in Gladesville, the service Manual is 16MB and they will release a copy of it but they can't email it due to it's size. I've got the same UHF CB , so If you can wait a bit I can get a Copy of the File and Send it to you ......

There is something I didn't think of , I'll investigate the Megaupload / Rapidshare , when I get the File . Is there any part of the Manual you're interested in specifically , I may even be able to Email it to you...

I thought I had it on my website - but it's the user manual.

The microphone is just the standard GME phone plug style thing isn't it?

You can't just borrow a mates and try it?

Alternatively there are only 6 wires. Pull it apart and find out.

When mine broke (original TX4400) it was just the plastic between the pins on the plug was bent over a little from when I was a little rough unplugging it.
