    well it did it again yesterday so phone is going back!....keep fingers crossed everyone that the phone makes it back to its origin of china.

    Well so far the company has been great to deal with....

    came across a bit of a drama when I went to post it back! as they only except parcels from the post office of your country not couriers such as fedex and DHL.....

    Went to post it and was informed that you can no longer post a lithium battery for Australia post.

    contacted the people they were really understanding and asked me to remove the battery....as soon as I gave them my tracking number they emailed me with a tracking number with the replacement phone inc battery.

    Hopefully this one is ok and trouble free as I have to say there communication has been outstanding!!

    My brother works on Hainan Island China, when he was here at easter he accidentally left his phone and camera charger at the airport. I posted them back registered post for $17.50 and it was about 1 kg.

    Well got my replacement phone and so far so good...when I first turned it on and copied my phone book over it then told me the sim was not working!

    I thought oh yeah here we go....but I took the sim out and put it back in and it appears to be working fine.

    So I will give it a day or two to make sure it doesn't play up and then leave my positive feedback for him

    Good to hear that "hopefully" it has all worked out for you.

    You may find that the contacts on the sim are a little grotty. Best way to clean them is to use a pencil eraser, and gently give the copper contacts a clean. This usually works.

    Either that, or if your sim is over about 5 years old, drop in one day to your service providers shop, and pick up a new one. It should be fairly cheap for a new sim. < $10.
