The manuals are still in print and you can get them from Codan or your local agent. For this reason they are not on the Codan Outback Radio Group.
Similarly for the XP programming software.
This is a message on the Codan Group site
"The XP programming software has copyright and has not been released to the public and therefore we cannot supply copies of it. Codan are very helpful to our site and may not be if it were found that we were distributing the software. You may find someone who is prepared to program it for you in the group, failing that you will need to take it to a Codan dealer.
It would therefore be appreciated if you did not ask about acquiring it on the group messages.
Thanks, your assistance is appreciated." The document is signed.
What is true of the Codan forum should also be true of AuLRO, some of our members (like me) have Codan equipment and would like to continue a good relationship with the manufacturer and if it were known that AuLRO facilitates breaches of Codan's intellectual property, they may not be helpfull in the future and may also land AuLRO in the midst of a copyright lawsuit. Going by recent occurrences of copyright law suits the rights will all be on Codan's side.
