    Hey Mike,
Just blew up my stereo head unit in my TD5 Defender, and purchased a pioneer unit. Thanks for the info on the connectors, as it will save me lots of slicing and dicing. THIS FORUM IS JUST FANTASTIC!!!

    Just a word of caution.

I purchased the Pioneer Aeropro ISO adaptor for my replacement unit and it didn't fit the Pioneer head unit.

It would pay to have your head unit with you when you buy the adaptor.

I spent an hour or so crimping connectors on to wires to get it going.
