    PSP or DS

Giday can the gamers out there give the low down on PSP vrs DS. I need to get one each for my boys, im an old timer console player and have no idea on games avalable, portability, 12vt charging and general useability of these smaller units.

PSP all day long..... the DS is just a toy

I'm not really a gamer, but i do own one.
    Bigger, Brighter, Clearer screen
    Easily hackable
    Plenty of downloadable games
    Watch movies
    WiFi for Internet browsing
Plenty of Apps run on them
And more sort after if you wish to sell it.

The only reason i got on was to play Tiger Woods Golf with a mate (wifi to wifi) great fun... you can connect up to 4 of them, so if your kids friends have a PSP, perhaps an option to consider?

the new DS is much better than the old one...

I perfer the PSP as it fits my hands better and has the larger screen. But it sucks for glare. Great of a night tho

My boys have a DSi each and love them. Wifi, etc, vs each other in the car on trips, takes pictures, blah, blah.

From what I have seen, the PSP have greater resolution/graphics capabilities (about the same as a PS2) but the DS does have a wider variety of games, and more diverse gameplay.

Both can be easily hacked to increase uses etc..
