iphone security has been broken on a couple of occasions so they arent immune.
cant see anything ever being 100% safe due to the very nature of the things...
i am looking for a solution, not just an iphone.. the iphone 4 is a contender as are a couple of others.
i want something that will work in 4511 and 4613 as well as manage my appointment calendar and contacts "reliably"
i use outlook for the appointments and contacts
doesn't sound like much but it is proving to be somewhat of a challenge to find a solution that actually works to the point of being business class...

SubscriberShould the fact that you can hack the iPhone4 OS simply by downloading a PDF from a website be classed as 'potential issue' with an iPhone4 ???I guess these stories are at least warnings to those who own Android phones - better to be aware of potential issues.

Just to clarify - would that be on iPhones that had been Jailbreaked already? Just asking (cos I don't know) and because I thought these viruses, at least the ones referred to in the article I posted, were downloaded through dodgy apps.
If an iPhone has not had a Jailbreak done - I thought it could only downloaded Apple apps, which are not going to be infected - are they?
