Dave just looking for a net-book that is relatively small in size and not to heavy to start with....
that I can do my college work on both online and written text for the moment but of course college is only going to be there another sort of 6 to 8 months so I would like it to be able to run my photography software..windows lightroom etc so I can take it away with me a fiddle with my pics etc..

I dont have any plans for any major hungry stuff I'm assuming this laptop will fill those requirements as my desktop has no dramas doing it and that's running only 2g ram and Intel core 2 (1.8ghz)...

You see my plan is I buy this Laptop also to fill the void when I send my desktop to you for a health check (it still freezes occasionally on start up, and other comp bloke couldn't find anything wrong) and possibly a few upgrades
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

My old desktop was beyond the economic upgrade. Consequently bought a new Dell adjusted to my own specs. Jees it's fast, I wish I had forked out yonks ago.
