As you may (or may not) know, I have written quite a number of Fraser Island Trip reports.
Unfortunately every time there’s a change in one of the forums on which they are hosted the photo links break, the reports are hard to find, and often not available to non-members.
In order to get around this situation – and make the reports readily accessible I would like to have some sort of central place (like a blog, but not one) where I can publish these reports. I want it to be independent of my ISP in case I change ISP’s/
If anyone has suggestions I’d be happy to hear them.
Thanks

I think you are best off using Blogger.
You can have as many blogs as you like. Could have one for each trip if you wanted to.
As an extension of that, have a main (home) blog which provides links to each blog trip.
The problem I found just having one blog was is that it gets a bit hard to navigate and there is a limit on how much images you can have on each blog which is a problem if you are heavy with large photos.
.
"Blogger" ?
and whats the limit in photos per blog ?

have a look at
www.getjealous.com
Go to:
Design > Edit HTML
At this point you can click inside the code box and do a Ctrl+A to select all the text and then a Ctrl+C to copy it.
Or... you can click on "Download Full Template". You can then upload it to another blog.
That make sense?
Amount of storage: 1GB for photos and videos. See here.

An advantage of Blogger is that you can customise the CSS code and you can also put JavaScript within the code window. If you know CSS and JavaScript of course.
This allows you to get rid of that section at the top which is a default blogger thing with their links.
Like this one.
I selected that at random by the way - nothing to do with me.
