Step 1. Attach chain to Mac.
Step 2. Use to hold boat in place.
Step 3. Get a REAL computer.

    alternatively.

Download and install VLC Player (free download)
from VideoLAN - VLC media player - Open Source Multimedia Framework and Player

Yeah I heard those Macs aren't real good with video.

If VLC per above doesn't work where did you download them from, what size are they?

This is the O SX link from the previously mentioned site. Make sure you chose the right version for your system. I looked at the first one, '32/64 bits Package for Intel-based Macs, 1.1.5' which is 40 Meg.

No worries Gazza, VLC player is OK, versions for Windows and Mac are available and should do the job for you.
You can probably tell I don't like Mac's too much, terrible value for money, very proprietry and with the Apple 'take no prisoners philosophy' that makes Microsoft look like Mother Teresa.
Anyway, thats my opinion, but I'm not here to start a Microsoft vs. Mac debate. But I would seriously suggest that you get better advice re your computer problems. Assuming your PC's were powerful enough to run the version of Windows installed' you NEVER need to replace them to solve software issues. Don't know what you mean by 'bullcrap add-ons' so can't comment, but Windows does come with 'Media Player' out of the box.
There's a good IT thread on this forum with an abundance of good advice available, some of the poor souls even like Macs.
