HTPC/NAS
Not sure if this really belongs here (mods pls delete if i've done something naughty)
Anyway came across this earlier today.
BUY Belkin HP MICROSERVER AMD-N36L 1GB250GB -3.5-SATA NO-CD 1YR | MegaBuy Computer Parts
Thought I might post it here incase anyone was looking for a cheap pc
I've bought one with the intention of putting a ati 5450 or GF210 (or other low profile single slot card with HDMI on) in it and using it for a NAS/HTPC
rest of the specs can be found here http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/q.../13716_na.html
Cheers
Rob

NAS = Network attached storage (or North American Spec depending on context
)
HTPC = Home Theatre PC. Wrap up your set top box/DVD/Blue Ray/tivo etc in one box.
What OS are you thinking of running Rob?

Not sure yet
Remains to be seen if they honour the price but looks like they will
I'll prob run ESXi and have a play around with it at first and just run a linux VM on that if it doesn't have the performance to do it i'll just move to a native ubuntu with XBMC install
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php't=87469 is what i'm looking at doing
Just need to find somewhere that will sell me a Logitech Revue without the google TV bit.
Hmmm looks like the price has gone up today, must have been popular
found another site still selling cheap http://www.pcsol.com.au/Prods/Hp-633724-011.asp
