    Question re Accessing Some Websites

I suddenly seem to have a problem accessing some websites - Qantas and Hotmail are two, for example I cannot login to (Qantas - flights to Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Asia. Book airfares at qantas.com.)

I can otherwise access other airlines, weather, and even this site without a problem

Same thing happens on IE or Firefox

I'm wondering if I have accidently changed an internet setting or something - any ideas ?

MTU set too high for some reason my guess

You can try setting it to 1400 and giving the sites a go
use http://www.dslreports.com/drtcp or do it through the registry

Thanks for the suggestions Chucaro & Distortion....

For information, the problem is now fixed but I don't know how

I shut the computer down and disconnected the phone line to the wifi modem overnight and when I connected up & switched on this morning all is fine.

In case it helps anyone else I suspect that disconnecting the telstra line in to the wifi modem is what cured it .... perhaps ?
