I've been setting up a friends windows computer. Networking, security, accounts, content filtering etc...no problems.

Apple products and setup...different story as I haven't used them much When the person got the "i" devices, they were all initially using the same itunes account which is why I think I'm struggling.


What I need to setup is
- 2 x ipod touches for the kids - I have separate itunes instances using separate windows user accounts but I think they may be linked to the iphone.
- iphone each for mum and dad but..they appear to be syncing together (shared text messaging etc). I suspect they were setup using the same apple id and are syncing over icloud (correct?). Need to separate these.
- ipad for business use (synced with one of the phones and using the same itunes account). It also seems to sync over icloud. The ipad has never been hooked up to the itunes account.

I'm nervous about stuffng up the iphones and ipad. As a minimum I need to
- separate the two iphones, keeping the stuff on them but not losing apps and contacts for each person.
- have the ipad syncing to the other iphone and also ensuring it is backing up correctly (especially a calendar used for hairdressing appointments)
